Is this official? I heard USDA and EPA were barred from publishing data. Is NIH included too? I'm at another DHHS data agency and worried we might be next.

NIH person here; we received an email from upper management that reads "we have been directed not to send any correspondence to public officials (to include members of congress and state and local officials) unless authorized by the Department between now and February 3". Not sure if that means the same as above.
