Mail fraud? |
After having a few weeks to digest this scandal, I really appreciate Felicity's acknowledgment of her behavior. I am hoping she makes a comeback from this scandal. |
Why? Had this case not been indicted one morning and she been forced out into the open, she would have kept along as she was - enrolled her daughter in college and prepared the second with the next scam. |
Which is why I think it's possible the 'protected' donor is a Trump supporter. |
Give me a break....if the donor was a trump supporter the identity would have already been leaked. |
Looks like Lori Loughlin is NOT willing to plead guilty. She knows it would mean 2-5 years in federal prison lol.
So now the feds are pushing more charges on her. Let's go - this is going to be one fun trial - Lori Loughlin vs The United States Government ![]() One day after Felicity Huffman entered a guilty plea in the elite schools admission case, Lori Loughlin has been seen a new money laundering charge added to her indictment. The move by the U.S. Attorney for the District of Massachusetts heightens the stakes for the actor and her fashion designer husband Mossimo Giannulli, both of whom are out on a $1,000,000 bail bond. Having appeared in federal court in Boston last week, the new charge indicates that the couple are not seeking a deal with the government. https://deadline.com/2019/04/lori-loughlin-new-money-laundering-charge-college-bribery-scheme-felicity-huffman-1202592034/ |
To Huffman, I say you're only sorry because you got caught. I know we all like to find her "relatable," but unless you're a liar and thief, she is not.
Loughlin is just an idiot. |
Sorry doesn't mean the sentence will be any different. But sorry is a start. Sorry is so much better than not being sorry. |
Typical Hollywood whack job. |
The prosecutors are recommending a sentence at the minimum end for Huffman (@4 months in prison) because all things considered her crime is of a lesser degree than the people who paid off coaches or both arranged for fake exams & paid off coaches. Expressing fulsome remorse and acknowledging what she did is a part of getting the recommendation for a relatively light sentence. |
It's clear to me that LL will do jail time. |
Exactly. I'm sure that she's very regretful that she's been caught red handed and had no other real choice but to make a plea deal and express remorse. I wonder how much her lawyer helped her to craft that statement. It was a foolishly stupid thing that she did. But it was also fraud, that's a crime and she needs to accept and serve her punishment. |
So were Olivia Jade and sis in on the whole thing? The article in the WP today says that the parents sent Singer pictures of their daughters on rowing machines.
Wouldn't kids who aren't in crew otherwise find it strange that mom and dad are suddenly wanting to take their picture on a rowing machine? |
Some of the kids heads were photoshopped onto other athletes bodies. I don't know if that is what happened with Olivia Jade and her sister or not. |
Not these girls. The parents had them pose on rowing machines and emailed the "action pics" to Singer. Singer also coached the parents on what they should tell the girls to say about crew if they were questioned by anyone on campus. I think some of the kids may not have known about this, like the young guy someone asked about running track who said that he wasn't a runner, but these two girls are on the more complicit end. |
