Because girls get recruited based on their club play, not their high school play. |
Yes but it doesn’t look good for recruiting to be on JV |
This is not believable. Key words are “just fine.” List the colleges that girls who don’t play varsity until Junior year are committing to. And also as noted through the last several pages of this thread sssa is neither a conference or state champion and hasn’t been the past couple years. |
When are the All ISL announced? Is that published? |
UVA Cornell Mercer Fairfield Tampa Vanderbilt and we could keep going SSSAS's track record still stands even after a rough year |
There is nobody from sssas committed to
Vanderbilt and all those you listed were varsity sophomore year. They are the reason there is no space on varsiry until they graduate |
No 26s playing at UVA either |
Not going back to the classes that had to compete with the 2021 and 2022 classes on "varsiry" |
|
UVA - '24 who was varsity freshman or sophomore year Cornell '24 who was varsity freshman or sophomore year Mercer '24 who was varsity sophomore year and a '26 who has been on varsity since freshman year Fairfield '25 who was varsity swing player sophomore year Tampa '26 varsity junior year Vanderbilt - '21 who was varsity freshman or sophomore year |
What will be telling is if any of the A team players who go to SSSAS get cut from their Travel team because they fell behind their teammates by playing JV. I think they only have a few but if they can’t make varsity then I don’t see how they can compete with the girls that did. |
What clubs do most girls from SSSAS play for? |
This conversation only really applies to SR, GC and SSSAS. Most of SSSAS, GC and SR JV would make the rest of the ISL's varsity teams. |
Hey Potomac dad: It wasn't a Saints dad who called you that. It was a Potomac parent--just so you know. |
Because they would make varsity at any other school. Just not sssas. |
