How is the ISL race shaping up? Potomac seems primed to make a run. They have a ton of Capital Blue players. |
My take on the top 4: 1. Stone Ridge (clear favorite) -- Several top players and more depth than any team in the ISL; 2. Preseason Tie -- Potomac, with loaded 2025 class, and some nice contributors in 26 and 27, will fight it out with SSSAS assuming the Saints get their injured players back at full strength 4. Visi -- Lost a lot to gradation, but may have the best single player in the DC area now (class of '26) with the 3 time MET player of the year from GC graduating. |
I would agree. As far as Visi, they have a couple top players but depth is a real question. 26 and 25 classes have some players though. |
Here we go again with the Potomac is going to be great narrative. Will we see the same pre-season hype followed by a mediocre season and no championship game? And be sure to mention their academic rigor and college placement success. |
It’s gotta hit at some point right?!?! |
Let's just see how it plays out. I would bet that it is better than a "mediocre" season. Your Potomac bashing will be misplaced this year, sorry. |
Potomac sounds a lot like SJC last year. Fighting for respect prior to any success. They did make it to the championship, but we all know what happened next and subsequently. |
Shot clock will change things in ISL this year. KJ won't be able to play stall ball. Athleticism, transition and defense will clearly be factors. Who will it favor? |
Sounds like you're describing Potomac. |
I thought SR lost almost all their starting middies? |
Are we sure this is being implemented this year? I heard otherwise. |
Hope that’s true. Really boring to watch. |
Just AA? Shot clock in A would be a complete cluster . |
I wish the WCAC would get a clue and add the shot clock. |
Boys use them. Not sure why the girls don’t. |
