Appeared that we needed a new thread for 2025. Every team appears to have a coach. 2028s are on campus. Good time to pivot to the run up to the Spring ISL and WCAC seasons. |
Come spring will any local team be able to keep it competitive against GC? |
Only SR seems to have the ability to challenge them, on paper at least. Visi and SJC graduated too many starters that were key contributors I think to keep up. No one else has the same level of depth or coaching. |
SSSAS could rise up. They have some players back that were injured last year. They are not going to beat GC and probably not SR but should be improved. |
SSSA could be a hot
contender to beat anyone if several of their injured players are back on the field. |
GC did graduate a few players, including one who just won a U20 World Championship, but yeah, they are the team to beat again. |
Where does PVI stand after that player transferred to SAB? |
Better off because she and her attitude are gone. RH is a good coach and knew he was in for a big rebuild after the 2023s graduated. |
The STAB transfer had a bad attitude but did generate a lot of offense. Probably a wash. The younger players along with girls that haven’t played as much will need to step up for PVI to be successful. |
How will BI look this year? |
BI collapsed at the end of last year losing 6 of their last 8 and losing to a down PVI team in the WCAC semi's. With their returning personnel don't see them doing much better and maybe worse this year than last year's disappointing season. |
What? They lost in OT to SJC in the semis after getting smoked by them shortly before? |
Sounds like PVI vs. BI for third place as GC takes the WCAC and SJC comes in second. Not unlike this past year. |
They lost to PVI in VISAA playoffs. Very bad loss and very underachieving season. With what they have coming back they may be .500 in a very down WCAC next year. |
WCAC will be GC above and beyond the rest of the group then a muddle for 2nd because SJC graduated half of their starters, PVI is seemingly weaker but does have a good coach, and BI has some solid returners. |
