I have told my Indian-American DD to marry a Korean-American guy!! Can you imagine how cute and super intelligent my grandbabies will be if she does that? Anyways, I am a k-pop, k-drama and Maangchi fan, so for the time being that's how I am getting my Korean fix.

They would be so adorable! Korean's just have beautiful bone structure and skin

They look like a mom group going to brunch in April.

Mom group going to happy hour after working 9-5.

I guarantee they look a lot better than any of the moms on here, working or otherwise. Or their old, wrinkled, pudgy husbands.

I didn’t know 7 year old had so much purchasing power.

THey're cute. I know nothing about them, but I do know a lot about young people in the entertainment industry, and I hope they are being treated okay behind the scenes, but I doubt it.

BigHit is supposed to be a little kinder than most of the companies, they gave BTS more freedom and input than other agencies when BTS was rising up during their early days as BigHit was a new company with very little money and only a few groups. Recently, BigHit went public in an IPO and they gave each member of BTS shares in the company so they are all millionaires and heavily invested in their future now. Their album BE that came out last month had significant input from the group which is what they want, more say in their art. They still seem to work non-stop and don't eat much but it seems to be self-driven by the members.

^LOL- this coming from the person who started it and so bizarrely misused it?

You dont have to participate in it! It will keep going without you! Just like most things for young people and the young at heart. It's not for the olds or out of touches

Oh and HAIM were nominated for album of the year and best rock performance.

But sure — those bands peaked several years ago.

Bleachers is indie pop, BTW.

LOL yes HAIM did, as did several other bands in the rock category, lol. That happens every year- did you not know?

That says nothing about the popularity of indie rock, which did indeed peak in the 00s. Several books and articles have been written about this. You really must be out of it- yikes. So embarrassing.

They got nominated for ALBUM OF THE YEAR, not just best rock performance.

I don’t care what articles and books say about the supposed obscurity of indie rock and folk. Articles and books also say no one is buying guitars, when in reality 2020 was the best year on record for guitar sales.

You’ve provided zero evidence for the supposed lack of indie rock or folk in the mainstream and have chaffed when I showed you an example of an insanely popular artist who put out what was essentially an indie folk album.

And I never said it was indie ROCK; I said it has indie FOLK overtones.

Okay- and that's in contrast to that category being dominated by indie music in the past.

Of course you dont care. Because you're totally clueless, and, as I said, out of touch! You like to LARP as some indie-head when you dont know a single thing about the genre, because you mistakenly thought it made you seem cool/hip. Your idea of indie is Taylor Swift, and you've clearly never heard of some of the biggest and most influential bands in the genre. You have no interest, you're just a fake who wants to cover their ears and pretend they cant hear when they're informed theyre wrong.

here's the thing: I'm gonna go with the musical experts who actually know what they're talking about and have some knowledge in the area, and are respected and have written publications about it. Not some random loser who name quotes a pop album as an example of indie rock. Laughable and clownlike
