+1 And they are "redefining masculinity". THESE are the new sex symbols- sorry DCUMers married to saggy, harry, gross old guys |

I have told my Indian-American DD to marry a Korean-American guy!! Can you imagine how cute and super intelligent my grandbabies will be if she does that? Anyways, I am a k-pop, k-drama and Maangchi fan, so for the time being that's how I am getting my Korean fix. |

In many ways theyâre not redefining masculinity as much as theyâre going back to an aesthetic that used to be popular among male pop stars.
Most of the pop stars in the 60s were skinny and looked a lot like BTS (though obviously they werenât Korean). |
They would be so adorable! Korean's just have beautiful bone structure and skin |
Definitely not. Those guys were not wearing visible eye and lip makeup nor were they wearing dangly earrings. This is a whole new deal |

Koreans = Superior country and superior beings who have tamed COVID
Americans =

Punk guys definitely wore eye makeup and sometimes earrings. |
Not in feminine pastels the way BTS does. Not in a friendly, happy go lucky, optimistic way the way BTS does. BTS is doing a new thing. And the crusty boomers will just have to get used to seeing the tides turn |
Iâm not a boomer. And I donât care how BTS dresses. Iâm just saying itâs not like itâs 100% different. When men had longer hair in the 60s, they werenât considered âmasculine.â This is just another step in a tradition that started a long time ago. |
| We just need to stop worrying about what women and men should wear. If you like it, wear it. BTS looks gorgeous in both suits and earrings. |
They look like a mom group going to brunch in April. |

Mom group going to happy hour after working 9-5. |
