It's so they can just make them up with half-days where students and teachers don't have to do anything. They're basically just paid vacation days.

PGCPS is on a two-hour delay but said they'll reassess in the a.m. and close if warranted (and before you all say something, that's not standard language for all school systems, such as Calvert which is also on a two-hour delay, period). MCPS could announce the same as PGCPS, but you all have Taylor running scared.
