This is reasonable if you are a middle class parent with money for a sitter or some job flexibility.

Many of the students at my school would be home alone with much younger siblings for many more hours than usual.

Snow now expected to arrive in the area around 7am Friday. Most of the storm is South of us but a shift north could bring more snow. Maybe just 1 inch but the timing is the problem again.

Bethesda might get more snow than Damascus out of this one.

There is a special weather statement from the National weather service for our area.
