Should I report my neighbors for car tax evasion?

What? I didn't have a damn thing to do with it. She lived in Ft Washington and came in everyday. This was real estate connected so I suspect she drafted a false lease.

Sheesh, many people live paycheck to paycheck. They probably can't afford the high Virginia car tax.

I've lived in Virginia for 25 years and have no problem paying the car tax. The secret is to own reasonably-priced cars rather than the latest Tesla.

Preach. I live in VA and drive a 2004 Lexus. My car tax has been something around $25. Since my car is now 22 years old I'm hoping the tax goes down even more.

My bro (probably undiagnosed adhd) is current on payments but he is bad about putting new reg and insurance cards in the glove compartment and putting on the new sticker. He'd help anyone out in a second. TG he doesn't have a neighbor like you.

Uh, because you don’t want to be bankrupted by a car accident and/or want your car replaced if you get into an accident. It’s in your interest to have car insurance; it’s not just a legal requirement

Why is everyone so outraged anyway? I really don't see why all the love for people not registering their cars appropriately. I think the "military reason" was dealt with.

It wasn’t. OP said because they’re in Loudoun, they suspect their neighbors aren’t military or hill staffers. That’s it.
