Yo, it is still a pandemic and we are all running out of crap to stream. |
Ironically, calling the OP rude. Is this why OP never came back? This was just the first of the Pot calling the Kettle Black responses. I'm sad that OP did not come back and share. |
You are staying at someone's house? That's your first mistake. Second mistake is turning their thermostat down. If hot, you take off the covers or a piece of clothing. You do not touch their thermoset ever without permission! |
Touché! 😆😆 |
NOT FUNNY. IT IS WEIRD! This was a house? Why was OP sleeping in the same room as her friend and spouse? That is obviously a greater level of intimacy than just being someone’s houseguest! It is clearly relevant to the question. Page 11 of this thread and no answer!? |

This. Your inability to understand how inappropriate your behavior was is shocking. If you are this unaware regularly, this might have been the last straw. I wouldn’t have scolded you but I would have asked you not to do it again and you would not be asked back. |
|
You’re obsessed. That is creepy. Maybe they have a polyamorous relationship. What’s it to you? Need pearls to clutch? |
|
Yes, I read it as a plural "they" to signify OP was staying at a couple's house, but the context makes a lot more sense if it's "they" singular. |
Come on, people. It’s a TROLL.
She slept in someone’s house with more then one person in the same room. Not believable. TROLL |
My father keeps his house at something like 80 degrees. He is 93. I do turn down the temperature when I am visiting with him in the living room. When I am in my room (a bedroom) I just open a window.
I often ask before I go to bed about the heat when I am staying with friends. I hate to sweat from being too hot. |
LMAO. Your friends are like Sheldon. It was the middle of the night and you were hot. You changed it by only 3 degrees. I think your friends are odd. |
If OP was having a sexual relationship with the friend who owned the house, then turning a thermostat up or down is not so rude. |
