They actually do have a few less appropriate songs but they aren’t being played on radio. And they aren’t as bad as WAP. And the sexist lyrics are in Korean.

War of Hormone
Expensive Girl
Cypher 3

Of course Dynamite isn’t on the radio much either. US radio won’t play BTS because they aren’t considered mainstream American.

I haven't heard it played once on Hot 99.5, though tbh I dont listen much because they seem to be playing Watermelon Sugar on a nonstop loop, or at least that's what on almost every time I check, and I hate that song. Have others heard it played? I am sure it's played widely in Los Angeles because it's a diverse area and they seem to be much more open to music from other cultures

I discovered them spring 2019, around the time that they appeared on SNL. I knew nothing about K-Pop or South Korea for that matter, but DS was showing interest and ability in dance and I had heard about their choreo. So I watched the SNL performances. Boy with Luv? Ok. But then came Mic Drop...amazing. Nothing like anything I'd ever seen or heard. I was hooked, and still am. They have a huge repertoire pre-Dynamite, solos too, and old live performances on You Tube -- all worth exploring. And yes, they are incredibly attractive. Thumbs up.

They released a Tiny Desk Concert today. Enjoyed hearing them in this stripped down setting. They really can sing.

I thought it was wonderful, so excited to hear them more stripped down. Plus hear Save Me, it’s a favorite of mine. They were all cute, when one of them said it’s been a long summer, he wasn’t joking.

They are giving a speech at the UN and having a concert in Fortnite soon.

I’m posting this video link for those who said BTS are not good dancers and are not manly. My tween and teen DDs love BTS and this video really impressed me. Awesome dancers! As others have said, Dynamite is a totally new style, different from their usual.

I’m laughing at you thinking this makes them more manly. Imitating hip hop and black culture doesn’t make them anymore manly. Their faces, mannerisms and smooth skin didn’t change.

I did not like they're performance at the billboard music awards this week. The song sounded terrible with live musicians.

They’re so hot

I’m not sure manly is what they’re going for, they even declared their BT21 children are genderless and if you saw Jimin perform Filter at the concert this weekend, it was decidedly not about being manly.

I think the BBMAs are terrible so the BTS performance was the highlight although this one was not my favorite. Didn’t help that Kelly’s commentary was about how loud their fans are, rather than about BTS’s accomplishments.

Did BTS perform live at the BBMAs or was it a virtual performance?

I’m assuming it was pre-recorded given the time difference, but I’m not sure. It was filmed at the Seoul airport. They aren’t able to travel to the US.

BTS submitted 7 Grammy entries for Dynamite and their album MOTS: Seven, do you think they will win one?

In reference to the thread about the Melania not being on Vogue, here is BTS on the cover of Vogue. Because we can't all be as beautiful as BTS.

I think Black Swan and Boy with Luv are Grammy worthy.

Boy With Luv is too old to be eligible this year.

Dynamite was submitted for song of the year, record of the year, best music video and pop duo/group performance.

MOTS7 was submitted for album of the year, best pop vocal album and best engineered album non-classical.
