Its a new Bravo show which premiered last night. Hilarious!

Enjoy it while it lasts, heard the ratings were really bad. I watched it twice, she is too annoying, it is so phony and poorly acted. I give it one season. As someone who lived on the upper east side in NY for 6 years, I can tell you that its a jungle but that its not THAT bad.

I think it's hilarious. No one on that show is immune from mockery - not the UES moms, or the Brooklyn-ites, and especially not the main character. It's an exaggeration of all these "types".

Ratings are still bad though. Maybe it'll get a second season since bravo only has two scripted series. I wish I could like this and I've tried, but it's off my dvr. It's getting stupider/lamer by the episode.

Agreed.

The kind of people who like this show are the type who enjoy Cathy comics.

The kind of people who like to paint others with a big, broad brush are the kind of people who bore me.

Are either of you able to say you dislike a show without slamming those who do like it?

This scene cracked me up. Totally unexpected and reminded me of a Muppet Movie musical scene. Wacky and I loved it!

I love musicals and the Muppets, but can't stand it when the characters in a sitcom or drama break out in song and dance.

It's just too much it's an overkill and I'm someone who lives on the upper East side of Manhattan for eight years. Though to her credit she pegged the Brooklyn mom to a Tee!

It's not nearly as good as I was hoping it would be she's so silly and dorky but sometimes I find it endearing unfortunately I heard the ratings are not good so I don't give it another season

The silliness and dorkiness keeps me in stitches. I think endearing is a good word - I find the lead to be endearing. I hope it comes back for another season.

Best episode yet! Of course she would run into an old flame while buying adult diapers and covered in blood and smeared mascara.
