I was hoping to share my corn with a friend, but she suddenly looked grossed out and hid her feet. WTH!? (Hehe, sorry.)

If you are a stay at home corn farmer, is shucking part of your job? I mean, I tend the stalks, water them, hoe the rows and spread the organically friendly bugs around to eat the corn pests. This takes up a lot of my day! Then my DH comes home from work and expects them all the be shucked before dinner! I know he works too, but he has no idea how much energy I spend making sure those little stalks he made me grow are happy all day. This is a constant fight we have. Anyone other SAHCFs have this problem?

If organic corn were the end-all-be-all of food (isn't it already?!), would you prefer to buy it at a store called Trader Corn's or Whole Corns Market? And why?

Seriously, you guys are cornholes!

just when I think all the weird corn jokes have been exhausted, you have me cracking up at my desk.

DCUM cornies (you know who you are), if you are consistenly posting corny things on this site, are you raising your kids to be little cornholes, too?

I'm a SAHCF but I use to be a WAHCF, I don't consider shucking part of my job. We have a cornkeeper who comes over twice a week to do that. She does a really good job too, being a corn herself and all.

If you are a keeper of the corn, do you wish to raise your own corn someday, or it's enough to just tend to others' corn?

Should I spent my last few ears on CorningWare or the Corning Museum? I can't decide!

Do I owe it to my corn to pay its tuition to corn college? My parents paid my way but that was when corn college costed a few kernels.

A kernel saved is a kernel earned.

This corn won't shuck itself.

Some may say that cross polinating at an Asian corn massage parlor is not cheating but I would love to hear otehrs opinion on this issue.

Is a happy popping of his corn cheating or not?

If there are no emotions, it's not cheating.

Maisy was the name of the pump in my high school.

Ok. What is a "pump"?
