I think any objective observer can see that there is something deeply flawed with humanity. We do things we know are wrong. Not just do things that are wrong but we often enjoy doing things that we know are wrong and hurtful to others. We have an internal consciousness but fight it at times. Animals don't do this. Everything in this world follows the "rules" put upon them. Rocks, on earth, will drop because they follow the laws of gravity. Lions are vicious and kill but do not do so for pure enjoyment. anyone would recognize that human evil goes way beyond. It is not a matter of linear progression from the animal world but a totally different plane.

So in this context, do you think God should aim to please us, who are greatly flawed? Any correction from God will feel horrible to us because it is not because God is mean or evil, but because we are flawed. Think of real life. Anything worth achieving requires a huge amount of sacrifice, pain, and sometimes suffering. Those who live a sheltered life often do not gain the wisdom and maturity of those who have been through difficult period of life. This is just how things are.

We are talking about pediatric cancer. None of the above applies.

Ok. Everyone lives for a very long time as millionaires. Since everyone is a happy millionaire, who be police officers, fire fighters, who will grow food for humanity?

There will be more people to feed so we will need more food. Will you give everyone their food everyday? Everyone has a fully stocked kitchen every day magically?

Then they can go get their meth and take vacations however I don’t know how they will fly on a plane because everyone is a millionaire and nobody is being a commercial pilot as a millionaire; especially if they have a fully stocked kitchen and don’t have to worry about money. I doubt anyone will be a garbage man; I hope you remove our trash daily too. I don’t know who is going to manufacture things because no millionaire is going to work in a factory. You can give us all a new car every year. If we wreck it you need to have a new vehicle placed in our garages. You will have to make our bodies different because when people fall off a ladder or wreck their car our bodies will become injured. Make sure we have invincible bodies that heal automatically.

This whole exchange is a red herring. The topic of this post was pediatric cancer- so suffering the consequences of free will or "value" of suffering to prove faith arguments do not apply.

Whether or not a God would allow "torturing of animals" to make people happy, at a minimum, a loving omnipotent God would not give innocent children cancer, or allow pediatric cancer to exist.

I would just like to say that Cancer is bad on everyone. Not just babies. More and more we are seeing that cancer is the result of the environment and genetics. Which was the result of either bad choices for the body or evil unto the body. People get cancer because cancer is something people can get. It's in the realm of what can happen to the body. That's it. If God is not of this world, he is not giving cancer or curing cancer.

What about other diseases? Heart disease, metabolic and genetic disorders, children drowning and dying in car accidents? Kids being abused? Kids get kidnapped and murdered? Kids in Africa who get malaria? There’s not just cancer in the world that kills children.
