It's now 6 AM in Moscow. They won't make it to Moscow, but also there's no way for the FSB to cover this up now.
Imagine what will happen if there are open gun battles on the streets. There's no good way for the RT propagandists to spin this one. |
Like this is a surprise to anyone.
This Wagner coup will fail; the guy who takes the second shot may get it done. Wagner needs a high level of defectors from fsb, national guard or proper military to win. The ones who want their shot at the throne will wait to see competition weakened then make their move. It’s a win win. Ukrainians killing Russians; Russians killing Russians is a solid outcome. |
Eh... too early to say Prigozhin is not an idiot. He's many other things but he's not stupid. Everything he does is calculated Most Russians are nationalists. He has a solid play on that. He will have popular support. The FSB will check the wind temperature and go where they need to go High stress moments in Moscow Meanwhile, Ukraine will probably go all in and finally commit their reserves Going to be an eventful week |
He's obviously smart. I mean all those other rich Russians got thrown (fell) out of windows so looks like Prigozhin figured out a good defense to that is to have your own private army of loyal troops. |
Did Luka just flee to Turkey?
Why hasn't Putin made an appearance? What will the L/DPR units do? Now would be a really great time for them to give up. Are the Belgorod People's Republic guys going to attack again? What will Kadryov do? Now would be a good time to declare independence |
This all seems a bit of an extreme way to save face and withdraw. |
They are not retreating just attacking in another direction(against form allies). |
Reports that Russian military and PMC vehicles are commingling in Rostov. So the military in the south has switched side to Prizhogan. |
What is Prizhogan‘s end game here? |
Yes! Very interesting This is either a coup or the beginnings of a civil war in Russia |
To control Russia. The only way Putin was going out was thru death. Prigozhin reminds me a bit of Napoleon, he was out on the front lines with his men. He was anti-establishment, criticizing the military & IC elites in Moscow comfortably enjoying their lives. He knows he has more respect by Russia’s infantry men than they show toward Putin or the generals. This is par for the course in Russia. The elections of Yeltsin and Putin were historical aberrations. |
Karma. |
I’m dumb, can someone put this all into context for me??? |
