What are you blathering about? Maybe you should head over to Russia an enlist? |
It’s because Russia doesn’t import cultures prone to this type of reaction |
No it’s mostly cultural If you watch the 1990s footage it’s still quite orderly except in the N Caucasus regions |
I hear they need people, please report to Moscow pp! |
U do not know about French peoples riot? It is the French George Floyd reaction. Also Wagner position in Belarus interesting for invasion stage location |
Sigh. You seriously believe the Russian military or Belarus government would supply Prigozhin with ammo? You seriously believe Prigozhin is stupid enough to follow the Kremlin's orders? (Although he might if the FSB is holding family hostage and telling him to do a '200' to gain honor...) No, this is what I think is happening here. But since you won't believe my words, here are quotes from (cough) 'credible' Russians themselves. "myself and others in this studio have been warning for the last 2 1/2 years that the risks of what happened last weekend mainly come from those people that are known as "ultra-patriots" or radicals" "by inventing 'red lines' that don't exist, we're inadvertently empowering them" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MMgTpGz8aRw Andrey Bezrukov: "what we are dealing with is a typical Makhnovshchina (peasant movement)" "It is a phenomenon of a weak government. A phenomenon of sedition. It is a phenomenon in the absence of a truly strong state authority." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eeoKxjBUAks I didn't understand why the other propagandists (Solovyev and the Iron Beaver) let him talk and kept their mouths shut until I read Bezkurov's bio. I think he's a post-Putin-era candidate? The quote that revealed his true nature was, "every one else should simply be gotten rid of". "Andrey Bezrukov currently serves as Professor at MGIMO - the preeminent Russian school of Foreign Service. He is also an Advisor to the CEO of “Rosneft” – the largest public oil company in terms of reserves and production." "Prior to working for “Rosneft” Andrey Bezrukov had a career with Russian government and international consulting companies. He has lived and worked in the USA, Canada and France." "Andrey holds a Master of Public Administration degree from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government, an MBA from the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussees in France, a degree in International Economics from Canada and a degree in History from Tomsk University." https://roscongress.org/en/speakers/bezrukov-andrey/biography/ "a former undercover Russian agent in the U.S." http://www.foreignpolicy.ru/en/analyses/does-the-west-misunderstand-russian-foreign-policy/ "Rosneft will finance Wagner PMC" (Mar 23) https://global.espreso.tv/rosneft-will-finance-wagner-pmc-prigozhin-reaches-agreement-with-companys-head-sechin-russian-media "Reports in Russian social media appear, that companies like Gazprom, Rosneft and other start their own private military companies. "as many as four Russian aircrews disobeyed orders over concerns that their attacks would damage civilian vehicles nearby" https://www.yahoo.com/news/russian-flyers-disobeyed-orders-attack-213026934.html "Surovikin, commander of Russian air forces and formerly commander of the war effort in Ukraine, probably knew in advance about the mutiny, and appears to have been detained." "The Kremlin has moved this week to take control of Wagner mercenary forces in other countries, including Syria and the Central African Republic" https://www.yahoo.com/news/dismissing-rebellion-minor-kremlin-dismantles-141836457.html "According to the BBC, recruitment continues in Wagner's mercenary offices. [..] All respondents confirmed that recruitment is going on as usual. From Kaliningrad to Krasnodar, no one in the recruitment offices believed that Wagner's group had been disbanded." https://www.ohtuleht.ee/1087956/otseblogi-lahingud-on-intensiivsed-ukraina-sojavaelased-plaanivad-sugiseks-markimisvaarse-osa-oma-territooriumist-tagasi-votta "number of billionaire residents" "Russia" "105" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_number_of_billionaires "Russian billionaire Igor Makarov, the founder and head of the energy company ARETI, has renounced his Russian citizenship" "Makarov is the sixth billionaire to renounce Russian citizenship" https://www.yahoo.com/news/igor-makarov-becomes-sixth-russian-125400317.html “He [Putin] is starting to investigate and will ask every question, find everything out, and draw the necessary conclusions.” "“The atmosphere is even more surreal than usual. On the one hand, life goes on and everyone pretends nothing is wrong; on the other, everyone realises that something may have broken permanently.” “The message now is that even a weak Putin is better than civil war" “We believe the president will look to punish those he sees as not loyal enough. We expect purges. It might not come immediately, but it will come” https://www.theguardian.com/world/2023/jul/01/putin-looks-weaker-than-ever-but-his-opponents-should-expect-vengeance The siloviki or Kremlin or FSB may be busy house-cleaning after the Wagner debacle thinking it's the Lenin-strong thing to do, but I think the joke might be on them. Instead their activities will just fuel paranoia and fear (ex. was that an accident, incompetence, or is that person trying to sabotage Putin; type of thing). Do you get it now? And no, the West likely hasn't lifted a finger. Everyone is just standing by with popcorn waiting for Russia to implode. And after the internal focus comes the overseas focus. Back in Soviet times, this is when the loyalty of Russian deep cover agents living abroad will be questioned (ex. 'smirt spionam'). If I'm correct, there should be a corresponding uptick of 'accidents' (although if they were undetected deep cover agents, no one would ever know). If history repeats itself, this is how the West picked up several double-agents back in the 60's and 70's - when Russian spies were fearful of their supervisors asking them to go walk in the woods. |
