Same with a million other half-finished projects around our house. He starts them to “help”, stops doing them, and then thinks that is somehow contributing. Is it helpful if I cook his chicken halfway and then serve it half raw? If I drive his kids halfway to school and drop them off in the middle of nowhere? No. For it to count, you finish the job.

And my friends’ husbands are the same. They need constant prodding and nagging to do the so-called “manly” work around the house.

These guys keep claiming they do car repairs, household repairs, yard work….but I don’t see any of them actually do it. Or if they do, it’s half@$$ed.

My DH does all of car maintenance and repairs, plumbing, painting, roofing, gutters, electrical, lawn care and he still does housework. I cook, pretty darn well too.

As it should be. Although unless youre driving a hoopty, all this maintenance work still isnt a regular occurrence like the other household chores.

Yes but many women are getting degrees in fields that are utterly useless. They don’t work as many hours or make as much money as man because of it. Men work far more hours and harder than most women.

I’m not talking about doctors and lawyers. When has a woman ever become a plumber, electrician, blue collar worker doing dangerous jobs everyday, etc. I don’t see women lining up for the coal mines or to work on bridges and skyscrapers. Men work harder and do way dirtier jobs than women ever will.

No, I’m actually a woman. Modern women have less to offer but want more. They shame me for wanting to stay at home and cater to my man, but they are 30’s, childless, and can’t find a man because they all want a man who makes 6 figures, is 6ft tall, and fits their ideals, etc., while most of them can’t cook, won’t take or kids, and are broke.

I’m a woman. This is the absolute truth. Women are getting useless degrees in fields that pay little or have no jobs. Women today are older and have lost everything a man values - youth, purity, and wanting to raise kids. Many modern women have spent their twenties and early thirties guy hopping and now want to settle down after they are getting to geriatric pregnancy age and have so much baggage. This is why quality men have so many options and aren’t picking any of you women.
