I’m a woman. This is the absolute truth. Women are getting useless degrees in fields that pay little or have no jobs. Women today are older and have lost everything a man values - youth, purity, and wanting to raise kids. Many modern women have spent their twenties and early thirties guy hopping and now want to settle down after they are getting to geriatric pregnancy age and have so much baggage. This is why quality men have so many options and aren’t picking any of you women.

It is a problem. But I have two boys and I actually blame women partly for not holding them to higher standards when raising them. I meant the boys who grow up to be lonely single men. I meant boys in general and saying I have boys so I follow their friends and boys around the nation. There is a lot of push from both women and men not to gain skills or to manage behavior.

How is getting a teaching degree useless? It's all about the money for these men unless it involves danger and then even if it pays $20k it's a top notch job.

I worked a blue collar job at a farm doing manual labor in my 20s.

I take my car to a shop that is owned by a woman and all the mechanics are women.

My nanny is in school to be a mechanic.

The vast majority of men DON’T work those types of jobs. How many men do you know who worked in COALMINES??

The reason men work longer hours is because they are less likely to participate in childcare, and someone has to pick up the kids by 6pm. My H literally refuses to adjust his work hours around our kids, he just shrugs his shoulders and says “my hours are my hours! I can’t help it!” So I had to take a job working fewer hours that I don’t like so I can be finished by 430, while he gets to work his dream job with zero flexibility.

Oh, and I’ve seen him work “hard” when he WFH. He sleeps in until 10, drinks coffee until noon, spends an hour writing a report, then putters around the house. Meanwhile I’m up at 5am every day so I can get in a full 8 hours around taking the kids to school and picking them up.

The only silver lining is I outearn him by a lot, and keep my finances separate from him, so I get to enjoy that extra money.

I wasn’t talking about teaching. I never once brought up teaching. I’m talking about your psychologists, art majors, journalism, etc. A bunch of debt and schooling for very little pay or jobs.

Wanting to get married and being bitter are two separate things.

My single girlfriends want to get married. But they are very happy and positive people. They are happy with being single if they don't find the man that meets their requirements. They are living their lives: traveling in groups of single women, partying, buying houses, some even adopting etc.

They are not complaining: they let everyone know what they are looking for and then go about living their best lives.
