Women are at a distinct advantage when it comes to reluctant marriage because women do not have to marry to have children and have close to 100% control in raising them.

You can drive your car with your feet, doesn't mean it's a good idea.

I certainly do not. I read about cold, dried up, ruthless prunes eviscerating men for doing nothing more than expressing affection for their mates. Why sign up for this? I'll keep my money, my freedom and my dignity, thanks.

Few men feel biologically programmed to produce children. They bow to societal demands.

Agreed. Men should not marry. Nor should women.

You want our money.

There's many reasons you won't get married. Firstly a heterosexual man trolling a moms message board is not hot. You are probably a bitter fat slob with bad skin and a loser cubicle drone job.

Truth hurts. No one said you have to like it, you just have to deal with it.

There is no societal demand on men to produce children. This is directed mostly at women.

If you don't want to produce children, there is no reason to marry, man or woman. For men who want to have children and control over their upbringing, marriage is the only option. This does not apply to women who can achieve this without marriage.

If your affection felt good, no one would eviscerate you for it. Perhaps you should ponder the mystery of what makes your touch so repellent.

If you want to have unlimited sex, stay single and date. If you're married and it's not working out, get divorced then date. Cheating is never justified. There are better choices. Once you cheat, with kids involved; they will never see you in the same light. I know one guy, retired FBI. Today his kids won't talk to him or his grand kids. Seems he cheated with his wife's best friend then married her. She ended up dying, he tried to get back into the family. They all say no, including his ex. Sad story but true.

True you can't disappoint a virtual gf or wife. Nor she you.

That's the dumbest thing I've read in a long time.
Some men father babies with multiple women. A mans desire to have children is often stronger than a woman's.
If you think about it he gets the kids - all bearing his name- but his life goes on as usual in many ways. He's not pregnant, people aren't pressuring him to give up his career (not even his instincts) , etc etc.

My husband totally knocked me up before I had a chance to think about it because he was ready.
I wasn't totally and would have continued on as is - but it was a great thing.

You are a troll misogynist man child who keeps repeating himself on all of the discussions - don't you have a life at all?

Not all women are the dried up bitter hags from DCUM. My wife and I have a kid and unless sick, have sex 2-3 times a week. Even when traveling we find time for a little dirty chat/texting. We're both working parents and while I work more hours than her, we both do work around the house, find time for the gym, kids activities and so fourth. I'd like some more date nights but it comes when it comes I guess. I'd like to have more time out with just her and I, no friends, kids, other people. Just the two of us
