I’m not the PP, but one of the other posters about the horse guy I dated. Mine also had a curve/bend. Hmmmm this has to be the same guy. How many straight men can there be in the DMV area that ride. |
Plus the logic of the afore-mentioned going to bullfights on acid. And yet, it's still a blast. |
How long ago was this? |
Last fall |
And I’m IN! Different strokes for different folks n’all. |
Huh. I dated him for a while but way before that |
Ah okay. Our thing wasn’t very long. Between him getting around and the time spent riding it wasn’t going to work for me. |
Getting around? He wasn’t with me I don’t think |
Good one. I dated a lady who was very into college sports. It got so boring. |
This. I'm not some animal rights obsessed-type, but I just find mounted animal heads so tacky. |
| My friend should have with electric trains!!! |

A guy that watches too much TV or is always on screens. This includes being into watching sports of any kind - college or professional.
Also, a guy to drinks too much is a red flag for me. I don't like the scene. A glass of wine or beer with dinner is one thing. Hanging out in a bar or club is a whole different level of gross I'm not willing to do. Also, I don't like being around drunk people, even is the guy is never one of them. |
| I'm with those saying watching sports. If your partner wants to spend all Sunday watching football then forget it. It's one thing to watch the Super Bowl or some other game like that but that's a once a year thing. I still don't watch the Super Bowl and am proud to say I don't know who won or even played in it this year. |
I figured…lol Where. I know a couple of places that are really good. Depending on where you live I’d point you in the right direction. One is a larger barn with schooling horses, has boarding and options to show if you ever get into that. Adult only groups for beginners and advanced alike. If you’re a male there are other male riders here that are beginners, intermediate and advanced. If you’re a female there is of course plenty of female riders. The other one is smaller but a trainer I’ve known for a long time who lives, breaths and sleeps horses and she’s a good trainer with a small contingent of adult riders of different skill levels. I know the riders there too and they’re all mostly nice. If you’re looking really far out I know of places in The Plains/Middleburg area that are ok. And if you want to give a hand at fox hunting I know another place. Anyways let me know. |
