It is irrelevant but the nasty trolls who keep attacking her family care about these things.

Letting your 16 y/o child go to drug-fueled campground parties and stay out past midnight is terrible parenting.

"We were both really drunk" - her best friend, who declined a ride home with her after realizing how drunk she was:

No, nasty trolls are the 200+ "friends" and peers out of 300 who were at the party who refuse to cooperate with police. Trash.

Hollywood pushed filth and degeneracy is not normal or appropriate for a 16 year old girl. You clearly don't have children or you're some creepy "cool mom" who buys booze for your kids. There are tens of millions of high school teens who are smart, charming, attractive, and well-adjusted who do not go to drug-fueled parties, get blackout drunk, drink and drive, or have a curfew past midnight.

It's probable that there were dozens of other girls at the same party doing the same thing who went home safely. A lot of us can say "There but for the grace of God go I" or "That could so easily have been my daughter." So, lets save the victim blaming.

Why do “loving” parents allow this?

New poster here. Are you from another planet? This is what teenagers do! I had conservative strict parents and somehow I made it to so many parties like this where kids were drinking, dancing, doing what teens do. I am so confused by the suggestion that her parents are these negligent freaks. Teens party. It’s kind of a universal, normal thing. She wasn’t a 13-year-old. She is two years away from living fully independently. In many countries around the world, kids at 16 are out working jobs, earning money, close to full independence.

A 16 year old kid out past midnight, getting super drunk, and driving is not “normal,” you nitwit.

Teens party. They always have and they always will. I don’t know how define normal but it’s very very common.

No, it really isn't normal.

The family Lodge has been on the market for a little while. Not sure if it is owned by the grandparents( it was built by them years ago) or by her mom and step dad. Wonder how she felt about it?

Does anyone know where she is?

Is this an affluent area? I see a lot of million dollar homes but the kids in the Daily Mail pictures look low class and poor - and not in the stylish rich kid way. And the whole not talking to police thing is very sketchy.

We partied in the neighborhood at our friends houses. And we all had curfews. And frankly not that much access to alcohol.

+1 That's the way we were raised and our kids.

It's probably just a weird coincidence but a couple--36 year old man and 29 year old woman--went missing from the same area the day after Kiely. https://www.foxnews.com/us/kiely-rodni-missing-two-other-people-vanished-nearby-same-day-sister-asks-wheres-their-aerial-search

I can't help but think of the Elizabeth Smart case. Maybe the couple has her?

The missing couple is not related. They were found deceased in a car crash. https://yubanet.com/regional/accident-at-hwy-20-poker-flats-road-claims-two-lives/
