It seems that Wisconsin law requires you to run from your attackers and hope they don't give chase or get the upper hand.

Play stupid games and win stupid prizes: start engaging with another group, be the first to start physical attack (described by a witness outside of the original group), start stabbing people and gutting them, and you'll end up a murderer in jail. Congratulations on ruining your life, and your wife's life. Enjoy your prize! A guilty sentence and significant jail time!

Wasn't he minding his own business and they accused him of being a pedophile? Told others the same to get a larger group to taunt him?

So why didn’t this gang run from the overweight weird old man if he really punched them first? Does duty to retreat not apply if you’re a white teenaged man?

Yes he was looking for a lost cellphone and other groups of teens started taunting him.

It doesn't apply if you don't kill anyone

What does race have to do with it?

If he asked if they had seen it and then said no, and then he proceeded to ignore that and get up in their space and grab their inner tubes? Yeah, no. He could have waited until they left the area to continue his search.

No, he wasn't "minding his business." He was looking for a phone and apparently thought they had it, even after they said they hadn't seen it. He then got in their space and started touching their inner tubes.

He needs to be convicted of manslaughter.

He freaking gutted a kid. That was no accident and was WAY above the call of self defense.

Because black teens know that if they’re in a gang and attacking someone, they’re going to be found 10000% liable if anything gets out of hand. White teens somehow don’t get the memo that a gang of teenage guys is powerful and scary

Teens should not be judge and jury. They were in a pack. They could have left. Sounds like they made bad choices. Now one is dead.
