Our 35yr old divorced friend is dating a 25yr old

Have you even met her to know if she fits into the group at all? You might be surprised.

My inclination based on your post, though, is to say you should exclude her. But more for their sake than for yours.

OP here. It feels like we're babysitting her or that the babysitter joined us. Her view of the world is so skewed. It's awkward.

No sweetheart. You are the awkward (and bitchy one). Hopefully your friend sees this and ditches you all. I'm so glad my friends are more mature than you.

You and your little clique sound insufferable.

I'm 26 and my absolute best friend is 37. So don't make your dislike of her about her age. You don't like her, fine, but that could have just as easily happened if your friend was dating someone his age. Do you really think your own happiness is so much more important than your friend's? If so, it's your world view that's skewed, not hers.

You sound terribly afraid. Do you think divorce and dating younger women is contagious. Hmmm It might be...

Because social status and intimate knowledge of my favorite tv shows are the way I judge all of my friends...

I'm guessing OP is the mean girl queen B and is worried that a cooler, nicer, younger woman is going to be more appealing than a bitter and jealous bitch.

He's the only divorced one and he's bringing around a girl who got out of college jn 2013!!! She doesn't fit the group at all. Career wise, popular culture wise etc. should we just tolerate her or start excluding him?

1) You sound terrible.
2) Have you met her yet, or are you just sure by her age that she can't hang with your crew?
3) If you haven't met her yet I wouldn't worry because after one evening with you and your friends she'll probably take a pass next time.

Just invite him as you normally would and let her sink or swim on her own merits. Don't say ANYTHING catty. let her dig her own grave with her ignorance.

Also, do not neglect the ex wife!

you and your friends sound like you would be such a pleasure to hang out with.

get over it. if you havent met her, you wasting key strokes assuming she acts 10 years old. she may actually find your silly asses boring as hell and not because shes young, but because your definition of fun is sitting around talking about the stresses in your life, the silly things your kids do, and a host of things you shouldnt be talking about if you are out and about having "fun".

OP here. I HAVE met her. I just felt that for his sake and for hers we might want to not have them tag along to us to 2Amys. She probably watches Empire and bought he Taylor Swift CD while we all watch MSNBC and listen to 90s pop. Lol.
