Oh wow. Blaming Jews for our own persecution because we are apparently too insular, as opposed to proselytizing. That’s a new low. |
Really? Church is a welcoming place? Tell that to my best friend who is having a hard time finding a place to baptize his baby daughter because he is a man married to another man. |
oh bingo - and the disguise falls and we see the line between “Christian passover” and over anti-Semitism is very easy to step over. |
Churches say “all are welcome” but that’s usually because they hope to convert you. |
I would truly appreciate a response to this question. |
|
We Jews don’t bar outsiders from entry. Where did you get that idea?
We just don’t proselytize. Anyone who wants to convert is welcome to do so. |
Yep! And about Judaism. Barring outsiders from entry? Oy. |
|
Why do you care how another religion practices its own interpretation of religion? This is such an uncommon practice, for Christians to celebrate with a Seder, but it has you so upset?
You you find it offensive? I don’t think you would appreciate somebody outside Judism coming in and telling you that things you do and how you interpret your religion is offensive. |
So gross. Hope you don’t have children to whom to pass on your racist views. Poor human and very poor Christian. |
ok, explain to me what “Christian passover” gives you that Easter does not. Please explain it. |
Again, read the links that were posted. They explain it well. |
|
It’s a subversion of a sacred Jewish tradition. That’s why it’s offensive.
Would you question why a Muslim finds people drawing Mohammed offensive? Or why a Christian would find burning the Cross offensive? |
I don’t have to. It’s none of my businesss and I don’t have to understand how a different religion chooses to practice their religion. Full stop. I’m talking about and extremely rare occurrence of Christian celebrating Passover. Who cares?? It is how they express the religion. It’s OK! I’m sure some even celebrate Shabbat, or a variation thereof. It is how they practice their religion. |
| I don't think you should be allowed to drink green beer unless you're irish so please refrain from doing so. Also no polka dancing unless you are polish. |
Are those sacred things? We’re asking you all to be respectful of our sacred traditions. |
