How do I tell DW that her weight is a problem?

OP, I started reading this with the thought that yes, it’s fair to want a partner to care about being attractive to you. I’m in my early 40’s and am 5’8 130lbs & it’s not easy to stay there.

But 3 kids under 5? And one under a year? You’re an a hole to complain right now. And it sounds like you don’t do much of the childcare. I’m guessing right now she’s trying to just keep the kids happy and healthy and maintain a job and her sanity.

I think your posts leave the impression that you don’t have a clue about what her body has been through, and you’re not interested in knowing. I don’t think children are an excuse to stay overnight forever- but 3 kids so close together? Totally understandable unless she has full time help AND a loving involved spouse. You’re not first priority in your household- your children are, and I’m 99% sure your wife agrees with this.

She should take a long weekend and go stay at a nice hotel & leave you with the kids for a few days. Please report back & share your thoughts if this happens.
