There is more than one person replying to this subject. I'm the PP that wrote "it's that no character addresses the problem..." but I haven't written the other comments on this subject. I just want you to know there does appear to be more than one person here. |
| I thought I remembered reading a long time ago that her weight loss was going to be part of the show and she was going to get a gastric bypass IRL. BUT I haven't seen that for a while. |
| this show is losing me this season |
+1 I'm sick of how precious Jack and Rebecca are. Sick of Randall's cheesey schtick. Those connections that reveal themselves at the end (who the characters were from Ep 1., Randall being good at golf, etc.) to me are convoluted and never pay off. |
| Last night’s episode was really good. Terrific acting by the teens who play Daysia and Malik. |
| I just watched last nights too. I am a white Mom of an adopted AA DD. I thought they did a great job with the Jack, Randall, teacher, storyline. |
+1 the only ep that has really held my attention this season, very well done. |
| I’m enjoying this season so much more than last season. Although I would love to see less of Nicky and the woman vet. |
| This week's episode was great. I was so mad for Beth when Malik's Mom made the comment about raising someone else's child |
| Beth was totally going to jump across that table and rip out Mailk's mom's throat. |
| Somewhat of a tangent, but I just saw the ad for Frozen 2. I had no idea Sterling Brown/Randall was in it (and with what looks like a somewhat large role)! |
I agree--Kevin's whole story line this season is terrible. He was far more interesting before. |
Definitely a low blow and I don't blame Beth for almost coming to blows with this woman. |
Those two kids were fabulous in this episode. So real but also special. It's Deja btw, like deja vu. |
Loved this episode and thought it was brilliant that Malik’s parents had just as many misgivings about Deja as Randall and Beth had about Malik. Both sets of parents judged each other and their kids without knowing them. |
