Yes, this was way off and bothered me.

I thought aging was fine. For Kevin Randall, it was just some additional gray. Rebecca looked so much older in part because her hair was long and more gray. That makes sense, because if she were sick for a long time, she wouldn't kept coloring it or cutting it into a bob. And being sick really ages your skin as well. She would have been sick for years, and probably chair or bed-bound for a lot of that.

Agree. Aging is not linear. Sickness and stress speed it up.

He will be an important character. There's a reason he was introduced on an episode where we saw the old doctor again. And he is in present day with his redheaded daughter and horse.

I’m not sure about this. I just don’t think the writers would introduce random characters who aren’t that connected to the Pearsons. Why would they make a new story line about the OBs? There are already enough side characters with Nicky, marine girl, Kate’s neighbor... I had forgotten all about Deja and Malek (I would enjoy their characters more than a new ob).

I also don’t think the new ob is Kyle (the brother who died at birth) - that would just be too out there.

Think it’s likely that the new ob helps to connect Kate/Toby with their new daughter. That seems like a good theory.

Agree! And personally, I think teen Kevin is a dead-ringer for adult Kevin, right down to his mannerisms and voice.

There is no way Madison and Kevin become a couple. Talk about zero chemistry - and they both play it really well. Neither one is interested in a relationship with the other. I loved the scene of Sophie laughing when she saw Kevin’s ridiculous billboard. I still think somehow she and Kevin will wind up together. There’s a reason she was shown on this episode.

I agree it was Nicky at Kate's bedside. Just because he had a wedding ring on doesn't mean he is married to Kate.

Not getting the young OB and his DD and the horse training. The girl seems too young to get pregnant. I do agree the young OB and DD will turn up somewhere in the story line.

I thought we saw a flash forward making it clear that Randall and Beth were separated (at least at some point)?

Kevin places hand briefly on Randall's back at Rebecca's deathbed.

Who is the movie star Kate's and Toby's daughter is focused on?

Maybe Kate and Toby adopted Kevin's and Madison's daughter (and the twin), the therapy worked for Rebecca, she lives @20 more years, Kevin's kids that are shown aren't his kids with Madison.....haha

Notice how they kept making a point of saying that he barely knows her and that she is basically a stranger to him? I thought that was odd since they have spent a lot of time together through Kate. I’m thinking that leaves it open for them to have more chemistry as they get to know each other.

Are we basing the timeline entirely on the assumption that the two kids are Kevin’s twins? Not sure who else they could be but wondering if that was meant to throw us off? I think the boy called him dad but the girl never did. Everything else about the scene indicates that it is much further into the future. Maybe he had more kids later and/or Madison had a miscarriage.

The kids look like they’re around the same age.
