Starting a new thread to isolate any spoilers for people who are not current with the series.
I loved grown up Jack as the big time singer. I’m looking forward to that storyline. Also, did anyone catch the Pearson political bumper sticker on one of the cars in that body shop? I like that kid who is going to be Deja’s boyfriend. |
| I like this kid too! This actor is terrific. |
I read that they were only going to do these extreme future stories very sparingly, but the producers love the actor so much that they've expanded their plans for him. Also, when casting the role, they only looked for blind actors. I thought that was interesting. |
| Who's the mom of Malik's baby? |
We don't know. |
The boy and the military stories weren't extreme future stories. They were in the present. Only Kate's son's story was in the future. Am I wrong? |
| I thought the singer would be Kevin's son - so that was a cool twist. (obviously I thought that before they revealed Kate's baby was blind toward the end) |
No, you are correct. I was thinking of the flash forward to Rebecca's death. Although I also read that they are going to wrap that storyline up pretty quickly. They said the far future pieces are hard to produce. That makes sense. I think the Marine, Cassidy, is going to be the romantic partner for Kevin. |
Yep. I think she will have some sort of PTSD kinship with Uncle Nicky and that will bring in Kevin as her love interest. |
PP here, and I was talking about Malik but the actor playing Jack Jr. is pretty good too. I feel more invested in Malik (and Deja). |
My guess is she died in childbirth since they mentioned the baby was in NICU for a long time. |
I saw the bumper sticker, but I was still very confused at that point. Overall, I loved the episode. I'm glad it's back! |
Malik (Asante Blackk) was amazing in "When They See Us". He has a bright future ahead of him. |
They did? I missed that. I couldn’t get over how young Malik looked...14 or 15? |
| Is Asante Black related to Samira Wiley (Orange is the New Black and Handmaid’s Tale)? I thought they bore a striking resemblance to one another. |
