OP here. I assumed from the beginning it would be Kate's because of the prematurity and blindness. I kind of love how the innate musical talent of Rebecca and Kate finally comes to fruition in the child whose blindness heightens his sense of sound. Pretty cool.

Yes, he's so darn likable! He even made me like Deja, who has always been such a depressing character. (Rightly so.) PP is right about the resemblance to Samira Wiley. I couldn't pinpoint it while watching, but there is a remarkable resemblance.

Samira Wiley grew up in DC. Graduated from Burgundy Farm. Also a big fan of hers. And, now her nephew’s too.

The boy and the military stories weren't extreme future stories. They were in the present. Only Kate's son's story was in the future.

No, you are correct. I was thinking of the flash forward to Rebecca's death. Although I also read that they are going to wrap that storyline up pretty quickly. They said the far future pieces are hard to produce. That makes sense.

I think the Marine, Cassidy, is going to be the romantic partner for Kevin.

My dd saw a theory that Cassidy is Nicky’s daughter. Griffin Dunne just got bumped to series regular and they have said that Jennifer Morrison will have a large role. This makes sense.
