Op here, My youngest is 16. Would the fact that my kids are older change your position?

I don't have young kids and would not consider actively dating if I did.

You are forty yes old with 4 kids and the youngest is 16.... and you let a man pick you up at parking lot because he drives a Benz. Ok.

Well that sounds about right for a teen mom.

How does having a child at 24 make OP a teen mom? The whole world is not DCUM land where everyone must go to grad school and become a partner at a firm before having kids. Many, many people have children in their early 20s. OP says that she has a decent job and that her ex does as well. You're just bitter that OP is enjoying her 40s while you're still changing diapers.

And I say this as a 36yo who is still changing diapers and wistfully wishes I'd gotten started having babies MUCH sooner.

She had her yougest child at 24. She was probably a teen mom the first time she gave birth, since she says she has 4 children. And no, I'm not still changing diapers, and I'm not yet 40.

You sound salty that no man wants to pick you up. Who cares what age she started having children? Looks like she can still pull (younger) men!

More like - looks like she's older than 40 with 4 mouths to feed for 18 years and has spent the greatest years of her life catering to them. If she's happy, great! But judging the fact that's she divorced and back out looking - sounds like not.

If her youngest is 16, she only has 2 years max obligation to feed him/her. What is it about a divorce that makes you think people are unhappy? She could be over the moon at being free again. The amount of projection here is unreal.

OP here, wow some of you guys are truly miserable and can find a way to turn the most basic post into a class war. I had all of my kids young, married, back-to-back and in my 20's. My 17 year olds are twins and I have a 19 year old.

The ages of my kids is the reason I am somewhat baffled by why it's even a big deal that I have 4. I don't need anyone to help me raise them and I resent the implication

Ignore the haters, OP. People on the internet often have very odd views on women. Real life is very different than online, and I know many women with multiple kids (even from multiple fathers!) who have no problem getting male interest.

It sounds like you are out having fun! Keep it up!
