My parents are from another culture that is similar- someone invites you over, you eventually want to reciprocate even if entertaining is not your "thing." I don't think it's as big of a deal in American culture? Like, if you don't want to have a dinner party here, you just don't. There's no "code." I think that's why Americans have a lot of social problems.

I find Indians to be more socially awkward than Americans.

I find white people to be a 1000x more awkward, cold and overall just rude when compared to Indians.

Welcome racist!

Interesting that you found my comment racist, but the initial “indians are awkward compared to Americans” comment was ignored for pages. Just demonstrates the blatant racism against Indians on this board.

Well bravo, your racism is justified. Hail...whomever you hail.

Notice you’re still ignoring the first comment. The truth hurts. fact is there’s a ton of racism against Indians on this board (search any thread with Indian in it) and I’m one of the few posters that calls it out. Disgusting.

I'm looking for the most awkward, cold, and overall just rude comment on the thread, and I think I just found it.
