In the other thread, somebody hit the nail on the head and wrote “came here to read about my menopause symptoms and saw this thread. I’m shocked that I just realized it has been over 10 months since I last had sex with my DH. Needless to say I’m worried but I’m going to try to surprise him soon. I also started looking into HRT. Fingers crossed!”

Sounds like a lot going on, including treatment for some level of mental disfunction (they don’t prescribe SSRIs for other reasons).

The nearly universal side effect of SSRIs is to reduce libido to near zero for most women.

I am on Lexapro and it has killed my sex drive in 40s. What is your experience on it?
