They probably didn't know how long it was going to take to fix it. How could they give you an answer when they didn't have one?
Can you imagine the outrage if they even tried to give an expected timeframe and then didn't meet it? You people have very unrealistic expectations. |
DP but I"m pretty sure I named you ventilation lady during covid b/c i know you, you are not a scientist and I am. Also, it's a cool name! Just own it. You got a lot of stuff done. |
Fine. No timetable. Than alternative instruction than virtual. What would they have done on day 3 or 4 of no school pre-pandemic? I think they would have start readying gyms, community centers, etc. |
These are essentially snow days. There are safety concerns about using offsite properties as well as displacing scheduled activities and classes. It’s not that simple. There are few places in Arlington that could absorb an entire school |
Correct. It was virtual instruction or no instruction. There are no alternative locations just sitting there ready and waiting for an entire public school. Things like this happened pre pandemic too and they just closed school. Now there is the additional option of virtual. I'll take that. |
Oh honey, I'm sad for you. The pandemic has done a number on your mental health, or maybe you were always like this. Either way, it's just sad to watch, and I hate to think about the lessons your kids are absorbing from you. You need a hobby other than internet stalking. |
Classic Ventilation Lady! |
I'm not sure why you think that everyone who is responding to your unhinged ranting is this Ventilation Lady person, but I guess that's just part of your obsession/stalking of this one woman. Do you see how creepy your behavior is? That's a rhetorical question. Of course you don't. |
Virtual should not be mandatory for kids this young, nor should it count toward state required instructional hours. Fine to provide suggested resources but to make kids abide by the ludicrous virtual schedule they assigned is absurd. They did this as a way to be in compliance with state law even if it’s not in our kids best interest. The calendar should have enough cushion to absorb setbacks like this. |
It does, they are called snow days. APS probably offered virtual because a group complained about APS not having enough instructional hours. They can't please everyone. |
They are $2.5 now. |
