They figured out it's an electrical issue today! |
I bet APE cut the power lines! (That's the gist of what I got from today's insane posts) |
If only APS hadn't spent literally half of our covid relief on the now defunct VLP. |
You jest but word on the street is that they damaged the electrical system while trying to fix the HVAC. Absolute clown show. |
haha- I'm just catching up- there was some insanity posted today for sure. Come on people APE did not oppose hvac maintenance or advocate for the VLP. APE opposed smart restart's insanity claiming that we needed some sort of uber charged air exchanging system before we could go back to school. I don't recall ape having a position on the vlp really- but I think it was more along the lines of we need to be back fully in person. |
What a bunch of snowflakes you are. Why did you have children if you can't deal with a couple of days of closed school? I'm embarrassed to be your neighbor.
Suck it up, quit the whining and deal with it. Be a good example for your kids. |
I grew up fairly poor in a rural school system. We never missed school because HVAC wasn’t working. This is ridiculous. Honestly, I am fine not going in, just don’t have virtual school. |
Oh yay the misogynists are back. |
Taylor just had a big overhaul on their HVAC System around 2015 I believe. https://www.apsva.us/wp-content/uploads/2022/06/2015_CIP_Budget_Final_Web.pdf They went Geothermal. |
Actually correcting myself, they went geothermal before then and then spent $3,680,675 in 2013 to revamp the HVAC. So it's only ten years old. |

Same. This shit happens (especially when your school board ignores our decrepit facilities). But just stop with the virtual insanity. Make Monday 1/30 and instructional day and mix the early release days to make up learning time for Taylor elementary. Virtual school is not okay for young kids and APS needs to have a different contingency plan to make up lost time. This is also why the academic calendar needs more cushion wrt instructional days. |
You're insane. |
I actually think PP was being sarcastic, anticipating the kinds of absurd comments we often saw during the pandemic (e.g. "you shouldn't have had kids if you weren't willing to quit your job to oversee their virtual learning for 2 years") |
Wow, thanks for digging that up. |
