No power. No heat. Did like the HVAC short the entire substation? Anyone have any idea what happened and really how long until fixed?
They are thinking VIRTUAL for Wed if not fixed by then… |

| The building is old and decrepit. I don't know how old the hvac is, but it wouldn't surprise me if it were pretty ancient. |

| Glad the school board blowed all the APS budget cushion on the career center. No budget for the much needed upgrades to all these 1950s schools. |

Where did you hear they are thinking virtual? Virtual is not school. When will APS get this? |

School Talk email. “ We are making every effort to open the school building on time on Wed, Jan. 25. If this issue is not resolved, school will be held virtually on Wed, Jan. 25. “ So frustrated that we have thinks like the Heights and then so many dilapidated buildings. We had a broken slide for 2 years (though new principal has been proactive and fixed that quick — but she has a long list of things to fix) |

Exactly!! And so frustrating that the ginormous school bond that just passed will only cover a second-rate 4th HS and not the repairs that Taylor (and many other schools desperately need). But hey, by all means, let’s pass Missing Middle and bring more students into a dysfunctional system. |

| We’re at another 1950’s ES in North Arlington and the AC/Heat is a joke. It doesn’t work half the time. That’s where the money needs to be spent. |

They don’t invest because they plan to tear them down and rebuilt… eventually. They are counting on demographics drop to free up space so they can shift students around to tear and rebuild. |

MPSA is pretty bad but that’s the only one I can think of in worse shape than Taylor |
