Fine. No timetable. Than alternative instruction than virtual. What would they have done on day 3 or 4 of no school pre-pandemic? I think they would have start readying gyms, community centers, etc. [/quote]
These are essentially snow days. There are safety concerns about using offsite properties as well as displacing scheduled activities and classes. It’s not that simple. There are few places in Arlington that could absorb an entire school[/quote]

Correct. It was virtual instruction or no instruction. There are no alternative locations just sitting there ready and waiting for an entire public school.

Things like this happened pre pandemic too and they just closed school. Now there is the additional option of virtual. I'll take that. [/quote]
