I don't think it's a red herring at all. You are correct that HVAC issues existed before the pandemic. But the pandemic brought attention to them, and funding, which gave us an opportunity to actually do something about it. Except some didn't want to. So here we are. |
Other schools used the federal funds to upgrade HVAC systems.

Don’t worry, APS doesn’t spend money on useful things like 4th high schools or HVAC, we get architect award winning high rises and slides. |
Any update on what is wrong? |
I feel like if they've fixed it, they would tell us immediately. The fact that we haven't heard anything yet makes it seem as if tomorrow isn't gonna happen either. |
I think they know its going to take all week -- hence why they told us MONDAY to get our ipads for WEDNESDAY. They just know saying "see you next Monday at the earliest" will bring out the pitchforks. |
Anyone ready to call the local news?
I’m leaning toward that or a full riot. I cannot do anymore virtual “learning.” |
I wish there were a SB meeting this week bc I'd go make a public comment. |
Yesterday I got the text at 5:16. We've passed that. What's taking them so long. They should know by now, one way or another. |
What's up with all of the hate for the Career Center? All of the other high schools have been upgraded. My kid goes to the Career Center. You all are very narcissistic to say that only your precious child's school should be upgraded and let all others go to sh*t. How about let's get all of the schools updated. |
UGHHHHHHHHHH |
Because career center is a choice school and it’s expensive upgrades obliterated funding hopes for 4th high school for a generation |
Translation: Virtual Wed is a go |
It seems pretty clear there will be no school at Taylor for the week. At least. They don't even know what the problem is. |
Yes please call the news. |
