Private school students still in the running are from Potomac (VA), Maret (DC), Holton (1 DC, 1 MD), and St. Anselm's Abbey (VA).

Finalists will be posted in early May.

Thanks for this summary of current students!
I wonder about the future of this program, considering the present test-optional atmosphere and the fact that many universities are trending towards test requirement discontinuation. With SAT/ACT scoring being a primary eligibility criterion, what happens in a 1-2 years when students don't need these tests for college admission??

And the New School (VA). She’s in my neighborhood, she also won a very prestigious national award for a project. Really hoping she’s a finalist, she deserves it.

What is the "Unknown High School"? There are about 8-10 kids with that affiliation.

Homeschool? Paperwork error? Do kids have to disclose their high school? I would imagine most do, but maybe not all?

Either that, or Hogwarts.
