Has anyone managed to convince their spouse to NOT spend Christmas with their family

My DH is not Christian and he is incredibly supportive of Christmas with my family. Much more so than my sister's "Christian" husband.

Same. My Jewish husband has been all-in with Easter and Christmas and I am all-in with his holidays.

OP, this is your answer. His focus should be in his children waking up and enjoying the holiday at home, not himself.
