Justice is love. Justice is a wonderful school serving many diverse populations that struggle to make ends meet outside of school. It is a place that genuinely cares. I see it in our Principal, Admins, teachers, counselors, and support staff.

Shame on any of you talking trash about the school or the Principal.

I am looking forward to the new school year. And I know at least 90% of the staff I worked with last year will be too.

Raise up the challenged.
Don’t misjudge and tear down a school and its people that are truly magnificent.

This looks like something drafted by the principal, especially the whole "Justice is love" bit.

Although I did note that the poster who claimed there was 40% attrition in one year never returned to back up that assertion.

An out of the box hire for principal for Fairfax County. She from Houston, and a graduate of Prairie View, atypical in quality for FCPS.

This principal may have skills working with less advantaged populations. If her record is sound in the area in terms of academic improvement, there is logic behind the hire, however unusual. This article paints her in a positive light:

Hopefully the current principal stays a while for some much needed continuity. In APS and other nearby districts good principals often stay on for decades, until retirement.
