This looks like something drafted by the principal, especially the whole "Justice is love" bit. Although I did note that the poster who claimed there was 40% attrition in one year never returned to back up that assertion. Most parents just want assurance their kids will be academically challenged, the school is safe, and that kids (or young adults) aren't roaming the halls during class hours unsupervised. Meet these criteria and no one cares needs the overblown rhetoric about "truly magnificent" staff.
An out of the box hire for principal for Fairfax County. She from Houston, and a graduate of Prairie View, atypical in quality for FCPS. This principal may have skills working with less advantaged populations. If her record is sound in the area in terms of academic improvement, there is logic behind the hire, however unusual. This article paints her in a positive light: https://blackmeninamerica.com/they-call-her-boss-lady/ I concur with the statement above is that most parents want competence and attention to safety and a learning environment.
