Can you point out what exactly is factually incorrect? I am a Rockville HS parent who has posted in this thread and have been trying to keep up with the facts. Please tell us what is incorrect.

They weren't in class with the victim, they weren't over 18 when they enrolled, everything about the deportation orders is wrong, they're not here without family. Let's start with that. Look at the latest Washington Post article.

I should say -- the facts about the rape itself haven't been disputed.

Most rapes are committed by citizens so if we stop immigration we will have less rapes, it will not stop rapes it will not even make a dent.

The students were in class together and the boy should be in a special program. They were not in class together and he was in a special program.

The only students that don't have "documents" are not citizens, tons of kids don't have "documents" that are american citizens.

To name a few.

From the WaPo:

Montgomery Schools Superintendent Jack Smith told reporters at a news conference Tuesday night that both suspects had been in a special program for non-English speakers at the high school and not in classes with the victim.

They finally fixed that fact. But people now criticize Jack Smith for the fact.

I really think this bastard (and likely his accomplice) is over 18-many of these illegals lie about their age to get benefits, be able to stay in the country etc...they should examine dental records to try to see how old this scumbag actually is.

That was pretty obvious from the beginning but I still don't think they should be considered 9th graders nor that they should grouped into 9th grade activities/assemblies/sports/fundraisers/events/electives, etc.

On another note, with all the publicity stemming from this case I'm sure they are not very popular with fellow inmates.

You don't think 9th graders should play Varsity sports?

It's not that farfetched unfortunately.

This. Hope SHE has the best lawyer in Rockville.

Dr jack can't be sued personally. He has governmental immunity.

I expect he'll be stepping down.

He was in office when it happened, doesn't matter.

These parents are protesting immigration, when they should be protesting sexual attacks against women and children by Christians.

You don't have to be an American citizen to fly between American airports! Presumably he had a Guatemalan passport.

Haha. A passport? You can't be serious. He walked across the border and was arrested somewhere in Texas. The father paid for his plane ticket to BWI. You don't need a passport to fly from Texas to Baltimore.

An ID. You need an ID. Haha indeed.

I have caught a lot of flack for trying to keep the immigration status and ethnicity of the suspects out of the discussion (admittedly unsuccessfully), so I would ask that you not make this a religious issue. Moreover, as I'm sure you know, it is almost certain that the suspects are both Christians. So, in a sense, those parents are doing what you suggest.
