National news went berserk over it with the accusations against fraternities and administration at UVA. Yet, a 14 year old girl gets raped with EVIDENCE--one who went to law enforcement (unlike the UVA case) and national media ignored for too long. Why? Accusations against frat boys fit the narrative. Accusations against illegal immigrants do not.

This happened to a fourteen year old in a high school. Maybe, the boys will be proven innocent--but Rockville police say there is evidence. There is a lot to this story beyond the obvious-----like how safe are our kids in schools? What is wrong with the social environment in schools and in society that make kids think it okay to do this? Even if it was "consensual"-which I doubt--there is something wrong with this whole picture of our schools.

An isolated rape at UVA is not a national news story. A story about a pattern of rapes at a major university might be a larger story. An overpublicized story about rape that ends up being fraudulent is a national news story. But an individual rape is not national news - obviously. Rape is terrible but ask yourself (well, ask Fox) why no breathless coverage of say the brutal rapes that happen in prisons every day? As for "what's wrong with the social environment"? Well if Fox wants to do a story on rape culture, campus rape, and how to educate boys and men not to rape, that would be amazing.

Hilarious! Are you really that naive? When should MCPS have 'educated these two rapists how not to rape'? How exactly would that be MCPS's responsibility? I am currently not a fan of MCPS but to say that THIS rape occurred because we did not do a good job of educating these two men on why rape is wrong?? That's insanity.

The men were here for 8 months. So in 8 months, we should have enrolled them in some program to ensure that they respected women?

The reason this is a massive story is that it exposed a situation and policy that the progressive leadership wanted to be obscure and little known

The system is desiring to be a magnet for destrubuting 17000 dollar per year services to any and all illegal immigrants that wander into to county. Estimates now around 25000 . That's half a billion dollars per year. Additionally , non English speaking , no vaccination records , no birth certificates , no transcripts , no criminal background check , no proven address 18 year olds are wandering the halls and in school as freshmen. Graduating at 21 or 22 but they could be 30 because they have no birth certificate. This is the kind of policy that fosters rape of minors by older tougher men from gang infested countries and no criminal background check being put in class with 14 year old girls . Not to mention a rediculous and unserious academic atmosphere which is among the most expensive in the world . This rape exposed it all and the public is furious.

Plus a million. Outraged that our lax policies on how the border is controlled, has created such a huge burden on local tax payers. When is it going to end?
