It is more disturbing that this blank check to Israel is entrenched in our leadership.

A United States representative even wore his Israeli military uniform to congress. I can’t imagine any elected official doing this for any other country and not being called a traitor.

This is so creepy and wrong. In theory Brian Mast represents Americans in Florida. In reality, this picture tells a very different story.

This is the IDF uniform. The same IDF that is committing genocide in Gaza.

You think Israel will fall and cease being a nation without U.S. support so this is why this is your focus now. You do not care about U.S. domestic issue and so called time being taken away from those (oh but anyway U.S. can do more than one thing at a time, support allies and take care of domestic issues)

Nope. People are reacting to the fact that this guy supposedly represents the U.S. first and foremost, but he’s parading around in another country’s uniform.

But, you want Israel to fail, and a way for that to happen is for the U.S. to stop supporting it. That would make you happy.

It would make me happy if American lawmakers did not wear the military uniform of foreign nations.

That’s all. End of story.

This hilariously describes the struggle. Everything is antisemitism, and so much so it’s now comic

Nope. Never said that. Clearly, you refuse to deal with the actually issue. Instead you childishly point fingers with no actual evidence when someone else introduces a wrinkle in your ideas (or lack thereof).

I suspect we are going to see attempted terrorist attacks in the US from Hamas or Hamas-aligned operatives. They would be useful fools for Russia and China who would love nothing more than to draw us into a war with Iran in the middle East. A big terror attack in the US would make it hard for Biden to hold back entering the war more directly. It would probably not be that hard to instigate because there are Hamas-supporting jihadists in the US that would be willing to do the dirty work.

I think they instead are going to use a more sly approach and try to make Amricans think that Isreal is committing war crimes and that America should stop supporting Israel now and also in the long term. Their goal is to see that Israel is deligitimized because they think Israel will cease to exist without U.S. support. See how much the U.S. has been the focus of protests and rhetoric over the past few weeks?

That is true to the extent that Russia would prefer we didn’t have an ally in the Middle East to support US’s oil access in the Middle East. However, you can’t contain Jihadists. If their goal is just internal destabilization, there are plenty of useful idiots for them to use with that goal, both in the far right and far left. The explicit support for Hamas goes beyond that.

I think overall Russia and China have decided getting the US involved in a land war in the Middle East would be strategically advantageous, at least in the short term.

The only fatal hate crimes happening in the US are against Palestinians.

A 6 year old Palestinian boy was stabbed to death in Chicago to preemptively protect Jews from antisemitism. His mother was also attacked and barely survived.

Your rhetoric is responsible for this boy’s death.

“Long live Hamas” is your rhetoric. Look at yourself.

DP. Russia wants their guy back in power here. Then they’ll get Ukraine. They don’t give a duck about Israel, but they’ll do enough to keep it on the map in exchange for Ukraine.

That’s my take.

He’s voting in issues that impact others outside of his constituency. You don’t understand how representative government works.

Also, if his constituents fully support this, I wonder where their first loyalties are.

He takes an oath to support the American constitution. Wearing a foreign military uniform is utterly bizarre.

This is GENOCIDE no matter what you say. Half the Palestinian population is under 18. Do you guys have no shame? Do you guys not fear your God? Do you think your God will be in favor of taking the lives of these innocent children?

This in insanity. This mindless bombing is not killing Hamas. It is creating more Hamas members by killing people’s entire families and making them harbor even more resentment towards their occupiers. Netanyahu couldn’t care less about getting Hamas. Hamas actually helps his agenda. Pretty sure he willfully ignored the signs of an imminent Hamas attack because it gave him the perfect excuse to go in and annihilate the Palestinian population. There is no way the IDF and Mossad did not know what was coming with all their intelligence and support from the U.S. The IDF just wants to kill all Palestinians and the world is just watching as this genocide is taking place. What a sad world to raise our kids in.

This is not genocide.

This is not mindless bombing.

This is killing Hamas.

The IDF does not just want to kill Palestinians.

Your conspiracy theory is wrong.

In short, everything you wrote is factually incorrect.

Ok IDF propaganda machine. This is GENOCIDE. It is mindless bombing when apartment buildings have turned into rubble and people are moving concrete with their bare hands to pull dead kids out. I don’t know how you can in your conscience justify this barbaric behavior.

Sadly this isn’t a video game where Israel is bombing to get the bad guys. This is real life and almost 3000 Palestinians children have died and many more have been orphaned. Where is Hamas? If Hamas is in tunnels what will bombing apartment buildings so when the tunnels are intact??! Is the plan to turn all of Gaza into rubble?! Then just say it out loud instead of telling Palestinians to run south and then start bombing the south, telling them to shelter in safe places and then bomb those exact safe places. This is really psychotic behavior.

It’s sickening how they are just playing with Palestinian lives. Meanwhile the Israeli youth is mocking the plight of the Palestinians and making fun of them on their tiktok videos. How cruel can one be??!

Hamas are the villains who made this happen. Stop supporting terrorists who attack Israeli civilians and then hide behind Palestinian civilians.

Hamas were trained by Russian mercenary terrorists as souring wanted to divert Workd attention from his illegal war.

What Hamas terrorists did to innocent Israelis was horrific but this does not justify the war crimes being visited upon so many innocent two million mostly young and poor Palestinians.

Israel is not only behaving in barbaric indiscriminate way by continuing to bomb Gaza but is radicalizing many Muslims against Israel. They are making Israel’s position in the Middle East much less safe and stable. This response a lose-lose way to deal with Hamas terrorists.

“Radicalizing many Muslims against Israel?”

As opposed to all the love that Muslims have shown to Israel since 1948?

You’re joking, right?

That is your response to war crimes not being justified ?

Obviously 79 years of ongoing tensions and occasional wars has created a tinder box ready to explode: Israel’s indiscriminate response to innocent Palestinians is obviously going to make the many Muslims in Palestine and nearby Muslim countries even angrier and feeling justified in more violent responses to Israel.

This indiscriminate bombing is a lose lose for both sides.

It is also morally and legally wrong.

Yes, my response to your absurd assertion is to point out its absurdity.

Since nearby Muslim countries have been so very welcoming to Israel since they rolled out the welcome mat in 1948, I agree that continuing this history of amicable co-existence should be Israel’s top priority.

Now, whether there’s a better, more humane way for Israel to achieve its goals?

That’s a good question: what would you suggest, exactly?

You have zero common sense of you can’t recognize that Isarael’s unwise and unjust treatment of the majority of innocent people in a Gaza is not going to create more extreme hostility to Israel.

Actions have consequences.

No one is defending Hamas terrorists but Israel’s response is cruel and foolish.

No, you can decide to behave not like children and have self control. You don't have to have a reaction to every perceived slight. Too.bad, you do not have your own country. Not something to kill over. Pride comes before a fall. In the end, when you do, someone will declare war against you, and then you will be begging them to stop hurting us because we have children, as if you are the only society in the world that has families. If you want to fight, we fight back. Oh you can't, you are weak and not strong enough. Don't dish it out if you can't take it.
