Do you think your God will be in favor of taking the lives of these innocent children?

This in insanity. This mindless bombing is not killing Hamas. It is creating more Hamas members by killing people’s entire families and making them harbor even more resentment towards their occupiers. Netanyahu couldn’t care less about getting Hamas. Hamas actually helps his agenda. Pretty sure he willfully ignored the signs of an imminent Hamas attack because it gave him the perfect excuse to go in and annihilate the Palestinian population. There is no way the IDF and Mossad did not know what was coming with all their intelligence and support from the U.S. The IDF just wants to kill all Palestinians and the world is just watching as this genocide is taking place. What a sad world to raise our kids in.

This is not genocide.

This is not mindless bombing.

This is killing Hamas.

The IDF does not just want to kill Palestinians.

Your conspiracy theory is wrong.

In short, everything you wrote is factually incorrect.

Ok IDF propaganda machine. This is GENOCIDE. It is mindless bombing when apartment buildings have turned into rubble and people are moving concrete with their bare hands to pull dead kids out. I don’t know how you can in your conscience justify this barbaric behavior.

Sadly this isn’t a video game where Israel is bombing to get the bad guys. This is real life and almost 3000 Palestinians children have died and many more have been orphaned. Where is Hamas? If Hamas is in tunnels what will bombing apartment buildings so when the tunnels are intact??! Is the plan to turn all of Gaza into rubble?! Then just say it out loud instead of telling Palestinians to run south and then start bombing the south, telling them to shelter in safe places and then bomb those exact safe places. This is really psychotic behavior.

It’s sickening how they are just playing with Palestinian lives. Meanwhile the Israeli youth is mocking the plight of the Palestinians and making fun of them on their tiktok videos. How cruel can one be??!

Hamas are the villains who made this happen. Stop supporting terrorists who attack Israeli civilians and then hide behind Palestinian civilians.

Hamas were trained by Russian mercenary terrorists as souring wanted to divert Workd attention from his illegal war.

What Hamas terrorists did to innocent Israelis was horrific but this does not justify the war crimes being visited upon so many innocent two million mostly young and poor Palestinians.

Israel is not only behaving in barbaric indiscriminate way by continuing to bomb Gaza but is radicalizing many Muslims against Israel. They are making Israel’s position in the Middle East much less safe and stable. This response a lose-lose way to deal with Hamas terrorists.

“Radicalizing many Muslims against Israel?”

As opposed to all the love that Muslims have shown to Israel since 1948?

You’re joking, right?

That is your response to war crimes not being justified ?

Obviously 79 years of ongoing tensions and occasional wars has created a tinder box ready to explode: Israel’s indiscriminate response to innocent Palestinians is obviously going to make the many Muslims in Palestine and nearby Muslim countries even angrier and feeling justified in more violent responses to Israel.

This indiscriminate bombing is a lose lose for both sides.

It is also morally and legally wrong.

Yes, my response to your absurd assertion is to point out its absurdity.

Since nearby Muslim countries have been so very welcoming to Israel since they rolled out the welcome mat in 1948, I agree that continuing this history of amicable co-existence should be Israel’s top priority.

Now, whether there’s a better, more humane way for Israel to achieve its goals?

That’s a good question: what would you suggest, exactly?

You have zero common sense of you can’t recognize that Isarael’s unwise and unjust treatment of the majority of innocent people in a Gaza is not going to create more extreme hostility to Israel.

Actions have consequences.

No one is defending Hamas terrorists but Israel’s response is cruel and foolish.

More extreme than 75 years of efforts to obliterate Israel?

I mean, I’m not sure there’s much downside potential.

That said, how exactly would you suggest Israel respond?

A lot more restraint against innocent civilians for starters. No carpet bombing.

A lot more attempts at diplomatic efforts to retrieve hostages.

Targeted attacks on tunnels and known Hamas HQs.

Recognize Russian mercenary terrorists trained the Hamas terrorists in order to start a regional war and divert attention from their illegal war in Ukraine. Not allow Israel to be used as cynical Russian ploy to assert Russian and Chinese dominance in world order. Don’t let Russia play you l

Negotiate with Iran, Egypt, Jordan and other nearby Muslim countries to show them you value their opinion and cooperation in continuing Muslim extremists (most of these countries are combatting extremism also)

Work much much harder on viable two state solution.

I know irbid all much easier said than done. But mass destruction of innocents in Gaza is clearly not the answer.

1. I agree that a more limited campaign would be wiser, as would efforts to align Egypt and Jordan.

2. That said, neither is likely to produce significant results and negotiating with Iran is pointless, as you surely know.

3. Israel doesn’t much care about the larger geopolitical significance (beyond its impact in the region).

4. Negotiations will not produce the destruction of Hamas’s military capability, which is (understandably) Israel’s goal here.

5. Therefore, at end of day, a war in Gaza was probably inevitable. But like you, I wish Israel had exhausted all other options first.

You made many valid points but I do think they could try harder to find more diplomatic common ground even with Iran.

Since 2012, Hamas ceased receiving support from Iran due to Hamas' support of the Muslim Brotherhood in Syria, Iran’s strongest alliance. Many Muslim countries do not want Muslim extremists creating mayhem in their countries (Egypt especially has been wrestling with this issue)..

Israel needs to make more allies not enemies in the ME.

FYI since source credibility is an issue in this war and I have seen favorable references to Jewish Voice for Peace. It appears that the Twitter account for Jewish Voice for Peace was, as of last May, run by a Hamas-aligned non-Jew.

Maybe but here in US, many Jews are arguing for the attacks in Gaza not to be done in their names.

Because Israel’s barbaric attacks are a million times worse. No Israel has no excuse to act like animals and no this is not self defense. Mindless bombing is not getting rid of Hamas. It is creating a bigger following for Hamas. Just like how ISIS was created because the U.S. could not mind its own business and invaded Iraq. Have you seen the way the Israelis government is talking about killing Palestinians. They have no remorse. Hamas is a terrorist organization but what does that make Israel? What Israel is doing is outright cold blooded murder of innocent Palestinians. First these Zionists take their land, rob them of their humanity, confine them to a narrow strip of land, imprison their innocent men and when the occupied become extremists and fight back, these Zionists scream anti semitism. Thank God for sane voices such as Jewish voice for peace who see things for what they are and refuse to make excuses for Israel’s genocide campaign.

Yes, this is self defense.

Yes, this is killing Hamas fighters.

No, this is not genocide.

The reason the Palestinians don’t have a state is because THEY rejected the two state solution in 1948 (and many times since) and tried to destroy Israel.

FFS.

How is indiscriminate bombing of two million very young and poor Palestinians not genocide?

You are trying to reason with Zionists, cruelty runs in every cell of their being.

What did the Palestinians think would happen when they killed and abducted seniors, babies, farm workers and peace concert attendees just going about their life?

And what did the Israelis think would happen when they repeatedly defied international law and kept grabbing more and more land from the Palestinians and pushing them into a narrow strip of land while controlling how much food, water and electricity they get. You keep harping about Israel defending themselves. Well maybe Hamas came in because they wanted to defend their land and get it back from their occupiers. Maybe was defense for them as well. See two can play this game. And stop acting willfully ignorant and thinking this conflict started on October 7th. Israel has been very brutal and has taken thousands of Palestinians as prisoners with no charges. So if you are so obsessed about Israel’s defense, maybe Hamas was also in defense mode and wanted a release of thousands of Palestinians that have been kept in Israeli prisons with no trial. Don’t act as if Israel is an innocent party who just wants to get along with everyone…far from it. The repeated atrocities against Palestinian civilians and their dehumanization will lead to extremism and sadly innocent Israelis paid a price for it.

This is the first time in my memory that actual Israelis became collateral damage. Israel seems to be making an utterly pathetic effort to get their hostages back.

Israel does not CARE about the hostages. Many of the victims of October 7th were killed and/or burned alive by Israeli tank shellings. Neither Netanyahu, nor the government had met with the hostage’s families until yesterday. The hostages are as expendable as any other human life to the terrorist state of Israel.

We killed more German and Japanese civilians than the entire population of Gaza.

Nobody calls out FDR or Truman for genocide.

Have you looked up the definition of the word genocide?

Give it a go, then we can chat.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Genocide

Maybe you should read the definition of genocide. It describes Gaza perfectly.

So, your argument is that Israel has a right kill every single human being in Gaza as long as they say they’re at war? A war where the people you’re attacking aren’t allowed to surrender is not a war—it’s a genocide.

Your other argument sounds like you think it’s Israel’s turn to commit a genocide because “everyone else” did it?

Long Live Hamas is being chanted in New York City. I never thought I'd see that in the US, particularly in New York City of all places.

+1. Also Germany and Japan were industrialized states with standing armies who could retaliate at scale. The war with Hamas is asymmetric warfare in land that Israel effectively controls - Israel is responsible for protecting the Palestinian civilians there - they are basically subjects of Israel.

There were many bombings in the area where they told people to go. A special kind of evil.
