This in insanity. This mindless bombing is not killing Hamas. It is creating more Hamas members by killing people’s entire families and making them harbor even more resentment towards their occupiers. Netanyahu couldn’t care less about getting Hamas. Hamas actually helps his agenda. Pretty sure he willfully ignored the signs of an imminent Hamas attack because it gave him the perfect excuse to go in and annihilate the Palestinian population. There is no way the IDF and Mossad did not know what was coming with all their intelligence and support from the U.S. The IDF just wants to kill all Palestinians and the world is just watching as this genocide is taking place. What a sad world to raise our kids in.

Sadly this isn’t a video game where Israel is bombing to get the bad guys. This is real life and almost 3000 Palestinians children have died and many more have been orphaned. Where is Hamas? If Hamas is in tunnels what will bombing apartment buildings so when the tunnels are intact??! Is the plan to turn all of Gaza into rubble?! Then just say it out loud instead of telling Palestinians to run south and then start bombing the south, telling them to shelter in safe places and then bomb those exact safe places. This is really psychotic behavior.

It’s sickening how they are just playing with Palestinian lives. Meanwhile the Israeli youth is mocking the plight of the Palestinians and making fun of them on their tiktok videos. How cruel can one be??!

Hamas are the villains who made this happen. Stop supporting terrorists who attack Israeli civilians and then hide behind Palestinian civilians.

Hamas were trained by Russian mercenary terrorists as souring wanted to divert Workd attention from his illegal war.

What Hamas terrorists did to innocent Israelis was horrific but this does not justify the war crimes being visited upon so many innocent two million mostly young and poor Palestinians.

Israel is not only behaving in barbaric indiscriminate way by continuing to bomb Gaza but is radicalizing many Muslims against Israel. They are making Israel’s position in the Middle East much less safe and stable. This response a lose-lose way to deal with Hamas terrorists.

Obviously 79 years of ongoing tensions and occasional wars has created a tinder box ready to explode: Israel’s indiscriminate response to innocent Palestinians is obviously going to make the many Muslims in Palestine and nearby Muslim countries even angrier and feeling justified in more violent responses to Israel.

This indiscriminate bombing is a lose lose for both sides.

It is also morally and legally wrong.

Yes, my response to your absurd assertion is to point out its absurdity.

Since nearby Muslim countries have been so very welcoming to Israel since they rolled out the welcome mat in 1948, I agree that continuing this history of amicable co-existence should be Israel’s top priority.

Now, whether there’s a better, more humane way for Israel to achieve its goals?

That’s a good question: what would you suggest, exactly?

You have zero common sense of you can’t recognize that Isarael’s unwise and unjust treatment of the majority of innocent people in a Gaza is not going to create more extreme hostility to Israel.

Actions have consequences.

No one is defending Hamas terrorists but Israel’s response is cruel and foolish.

I mean, I’m not sure there’s much downside potential.

That said, how exactly would you suggest Israel respond?

A lot more restraint against innocent civilians for starters. No carpet bombing.

A lot more attempts at diplomatic efforts to retrieve hostages.

Targeted attacks on tunnels and known Hamas HQs.

Recognize Russian mercenary terrorists trained the Hamas terrorists in order to start a regional war and divert attention from their illegal war in Ukraine. Not allow Israel to be used as cynical Russian ploy to assert Russian and Chinese dominance in world order. Don’t let Russia play you l

Negotiate with Iran, Egypt, Jordan and other nearby Muslim countries to show them you value their opinion and cooperation in continuing Muslim extremists (most of these countries are combatting extremism also)

Work much much harder on viable two state solution.

I know irbid all much easier said than done. But mass destruction of innocents in Gaza is clearly not the answer.

1. I agree that a more limited campaign would be wiser, as would efforts to align Egypt and Jordan.

2. That said, neither is likely to produce significant results and negotiating with Iran is pointless, as you surely know.

3. Israel doesn’t much care about the larger geopolitical significance (beyond its impact in the region).

4. Negotiations will not produce the destruction of Hamas’s military capability, which is (understandably) Israel’s goal here.

5. Therefore, at end of day, a war in Gaza was probably inevitable. But like you, I wish Israel had exhausted all other options first.

You made many valid points but I do think they could try harder to find more diplomatic common ground even with Iran.

Since 2012, Hamas ceased receiving support from Iran due to Hamas' support of the Muslim Brotherhood in Syria, Iran’s strongest alliance. Many Muslim countries do not want Muslim extremists creating mayhem in their countries (Egypt especially has been wrestling with this issue)..

Israel needs to make more allies not enemies in the ME.
