It is how it works if you had 25 per class originally. 75 for 3 classes. Then we lost 12 in the grade which is 63 and keeps us with 3 classes not two. Average of 21 per class.

Right, you lucked out with good enrollment numbers. And if you had 60 kids, it would be 2 classes of 30. This was going to be the case at Taylor until they got a couple last minute registrations. It’s so absurd APS is sticking to the size limits when so many kids are going to return once vaccinated. What the hell is going to happen then?

We don’t go to all other classrooms and count up the number of kids.

Average is 25. I'm well aware of last year's average, which is why when I looked around in surprise at how crowded it was and took a quick count of desks, I wanted to know if all the classes were that full. They have many more 1st graders this year and one fewer teacher!
