You lucked out but that’s not how it works. School board increased class size limits to 30 kids for elementary.  It doesn’t matter that a school has fewer kids because they will pack them with as many as they can to save on payroll. The school board is a disgrace. Terrible to do this to kids after the year they just had. They should have used the lower enrollment to make classes smaller. [/quote]

It is how it works if you had 25 per class originally. 75 for 3 classes. Then we lost 12 in the grade which is 63 and keeps us with 3 classes not two. Average of 21 per class. [/quote]

Right, you lucked out with good enrollment numbers. And if you had 60 kids, it would be 2 classes of 30. This was going to be the case at Taylor until they got a couple last minute registrations. It’s so absurd APS is sticking to the size limits when so many kids are going to return once vaccinated. What the hell is going to happen then? [/quote]
