Society always needs someone to hate. Hate is a powerful emotion, same as love. People feel good indulging in it. And hating white males is politically safe. No one will criticize anyone for hating white men. They are a culturally approved scapegoat for everything.
And shooting up schools helps dissipate that antipathy?
I don’t get it.
If someone suggested that all black men were criminals because a few black men were in fact criminals, you'd call them a racist. And you'd be correct.
But you can suggest that all white men are mass killers, because a few white men were mass killers, and do so without even a hint of hypocrisy.
Fascinating.
Avoids the topic at hand. What are YOU going to do to stop or reduce the radicalization of young white men. Hint: getting ppl to stop calling calling out white men when they shoot up schools or take out cops isn’t a solution.
What are YOU doing to stop the violence committed by black men? Despite being only 6 percent of the population, black men - according to the FBI - commit more than 50 percent of all violent crime in America.
I think there's a bigger problem there.
Online influence is an issue. But a valedictorian and Penn grad that read Ayn Rand and killed the CEO of the most awful health insurance company in America is not reflective of a racial pattern. Whereas your carjackers and murderers typically are. That's a much bigger problem.
