How about you lefties stop drowning everyone in lawyers so no one will do anything for fear of "offending" someone and getting sued.
See something, say nothing. |
Whether or not these shooters were motivated by race is a red herring. These school shooters are much like members of ISIS in that they are disaffected and don't have anything better to do. Which extreme ideology they attach themselves to is (in part) irrelevant. On some level, they just want to kill and destroy. |
You know, the problems are obvious for those of us that lived it. I could explain it and tell my story but this thread is probably a troll and I doubt anyone cares. |
You are right. When you read about suicide bombers and the like, it made sick type of sense. These were people who were so poor that blowing themselves up was the only way they could actually make sure their families were taken care of. ISIS is way scarier. These are middle class disaffected youth with all the promise that a western middle class upbringing can offer that are being radicalized. Sure looks like there is a similar phenomenon going on with angry white youth getting radicalized. |
Suicide bombers blow themselves up due to poverty? Does Allahu Akbar mean “I’m so poor”? |
Seems as if some people want to make all issues about race. Dumb statement, OP. |
+1 People who are lost and feeling adrift are easily swayed into joining cults and gangs. This isn't a white person or American thing. Those radical jihadists are really not that different than those school shooters, but of course, only Trumpsters like to distinguish the two as -- white killer = mental issues; muslim killer = evil terrorist. |
Look, I can't be responsible for people who are "lost and feeling adrift". These discussions are getting ridiculous, and bordering on asinine. |
So when there is a "terrorist" attack by a Muslim, do you not make comments because the discussions about them are "getting ridiculous, and bordering on asinine."? Somehow, I doubt it. |
No, you can't. Which is why we need gun control. |
Terrorism is, in the broadest sense, the use of intentionally indiscriminate violence as a means to create terror among masses of people; or fear to achieve a financial, political, religious or ideological aim. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terrorism I don't believe a school shooter (yet) is setting out to do that. They're setting out for notoriety or they're just plain insane. They may write rantings, but are they political? Not that I can remember. Are they grouped together and acting in concert, one after another? Not that I can remember. |
I'll control my guns. Don't make me responsible for another person's bad actions. I do not inherit their guilt. |
Wow you people really don’t get it. Lost and adrift? Absolutely ignorant. |
Twinky defense? |
No. But the school shooters seem remarkably white. |
